The Diagnosis is the only service we accept without complete prior information. It is not a sales meeting. It is a working tool: 3 weeks in which we analyze your idea, concept, project, or business together.

The result is a conclusions document and a tailored consulting proposal, designed specifically for your situation. Chef John Guerrero personally leads each diagnosis in Madrid.

How long does the diagnosis process take?
The diagnosis lasts approximately 3 weeks of joint work between the ChefBusiness team and the client. It may be extended depending on project complexity.

From 1,250 EUR (VAT not included) for the Idea Diagnosis, up to 1,550 EUR for businesses in operation for more than 6 months.
Is the diagnosis mandatory before hiring consulting?
Yes. The diagnosis is a mandatory first step before any consulting service. It allows us to understand your idea, project, or business and design a truly customized proposal.
Is the diagnosis conducted in-person or online?
In-person in Madrid and online for the rest of Spain and Latin America. Meetings combine restaurant visits with video calls depending on the format.
What does a restaurant consultant do and how much do they charge?
A restaurant consultant analyzes every aspect of your hospitality business: finances, operations, menu, team, and marketing. At ChefBusiness, consulting begins with the diagnosis (from 1,250 EUR) and can continue with monthly mentoring (from 450 EUR/month) or project-based consulting. Chef John Guerrero personally leads each engagement with over 29 years of industry experience.
Do you offer restaurant consulting outside Madrid?
Yes. Based in Madrid with in-person travel across all of Spain for qualifying projects — Barcelona, Valencia, Seville, Malaga. On-site diagnosis, audits, launch support, and operational coaching. Online follow-up between visits. Also Latin America.
